Kalaw to Inle Lake [Day 2]

Mornin’ from the village where we spent the night… So fu**ing cold!

8AM after breakfast and backpacking, time to start the walk again…

More villages on the way…

…and more new friends…

And wonderful new landscapes today with lots of chili fields and many burmese people recollecting hundreds of thousands of these spicy lovely vegetables.

Meanwhile in the village, the chili drying process continues…

Time to stop again for a green tea and meet a lovely old lady working on some bags and blankets, whith whom I could make some jokes with her ear plugs and mines…

In the way out of the village, a new surprise finding this awesome spot with these ancient pagodas more than 500 years old…

Walking and walking time went by…

A little bit of rest before going to the last part of the day
And finally, the end of the 2nd trekking day, after another 25km more, in the village of Part Tu.

While arriving, the sun was hiding under the mountains giving us another astonishing sunset as a gift.

And speaking of gifts, we had a really special night with the birthday party of our super guide Soe which cooked us this absolutely fabulous and delicious last dinner.

No words! Thank you Soe!!!!
