Siquijor enchanted island Day 1
After the incredible but exhausting snorkeling day in Apo, we took the last boat to Siquijor island, also known as the mystic island because of the healers and some other voodoo and black magic tales from the past.
The reward after such a day, good food and the daily lovely dose of mango!!!
After sleeping like little children,time to wake up, check how amazing the first night hostel was, and ride the motorbike to explore the island.
First stop Lazi and its beautiful church.
Near Lazi we took a small road that would lead us to Cambugahay falls, the most beautiful waterfalls of the island.
After the refreshing stop, motorbike again and we headed north, to Maria town…
Until we arrived to Salagdoong Beach, where, after an amazing enchanted forest road

we found an incredible double beach place with a superfun 10 meters cliff jump.
Next stop Kagusuan beach, a difficult place to find but so rewarding, we were completelly alone.
We had to go through some villages very apart from the tourism which was an amazing ride…
After this complete tour, we took our backpacks, moved to a hostel closer to the “island action” and time to celebrate.
And celebrate big. It was friday and casually xd the hostel we stayed hosted one of the biggest party in the island. Live band, full of crazy local people, “dj” and hard party until 2AM.
To have an idea of how crazy that night was, I will just tell you that we finished the night in the afterparty hosted by the policeman, with the sound system directly from his house and people dancing in the middle of the road. TRUE STORY.
